Human Rights Watch Film Festival

Salaam Dunk at the Human Rights Watch Film Festival

The Human Rights Watch Film Festival gets going in earnest today and runs until the 30th March.  There’s a particularly strong showing this year for films on women’s issues, including ‘Salaam Dunk’ about a group of Iraqi basketball players.  There are also a couple of environmental films about the Maldives and Latin America.  The venues are the Curzons Mayfair and Soho, the ICA and the Brixton Ritzy.
