Swandown is the lastest film from director Andrew Kötting, a record of his journey with psychogeographer Iain Sinclair, from Hastings to the Olympic park in Hackney.  By swan pedalo!  This gloriously eccentric project has also produced a book and an exhibition.  The project emerged from Sinclair’s oppostion to the Olympic project and the way his beloved Hackney was being taken over by this corporate juggernaut.  He saw the journey and the film as a way of doing something positive.

The film opens nationwide today and screens at the Curzon Soho from tomorrow.  The exhibition will run from 27th to 29th July at Dilston Grove Gallery.
