Paralympics Are On Their Way

Paralympic Torch relay in the Royal Opera House

The Paralympics have been lighting up the city with a cauldron lit in Trafalgar Square this morning.

The games themselves kick off with an opening ceremony on 29th August.

To accompany the games, the Southbank Centre will be  holding ‘Unlimited’ a collection of new work by deaf and disabled artists.  They promise ‘gravity-defying stunts, underwater wheelchairs and dance on crutches’!

Unlimited at the Southbank Centre 30th August – 9th September
