A Hidden London Gem – The National Archives

National Archives

Not only are the National Archives at Kew a treasure trove of 1,000 years of records on just about any subject you care to mention, they also host regular talks and events.  So if ever you’re looking for a little intellectual stimulation, this is a good spot to visit!

Coming up are the last two speakers for the year in their ‘writer of the month’ series; writers who have made extensive use of the National Archives in their work.  This month, on the 12th November, the excellent Tracy Borman will be talking about her latest book, Witches: A Tale of Sorcery, Scandal and Seduction in Jacobean England

Following in December will be historian Professor Joanna Bourke

National Archives, Kew, Richmond, Surrey, TW9 4DU
