Secret Art at the RCA

RCA Secret

Opening today, the Royal College of Art’s annual postcard exhibition and sale is this year celebrating its 20th anniversary.  All the postcard sized works of art are made and donated by professional artists, designers and illustrators, plus up-and-coming students from the College’s Fine Art programmes.  All the works are for sale for one day only and they all cost £50.  The secret lies in the fact that the works are anonymous at the time of the sale, so you may end up with a super famous artist on your wall or a student.  What’s brilliant about this is, the only way to approach the sale is to try and buy your favourite work.  And that way you have an original work of art that you love, that fits on the walls of your studio flat and which may be worth a fortune now or in the future.  Or not.

Exhibition open: 13 March – 21 March 2014, 11am-6pm daily (late night opening on 20 March until 8pm)
Sale day: Saturday 22 March 2014, 8am-6pm

RCA Kensington Gore, London SW7 2EU
