Comics Unmasked

comics-239x150
The British Library exhibition, Comics Unmasked, is the UK’s largest ever exhibition of mainstream and underground comics.  Early pioneers of the form, including medieval manuscripts, are on show, and many iconic names appear here, including Neil Gaiman (Sandman), Alan Moore (Watchmen, V for Vendetta), Grant Morrison (Batman: Arkham Asylum) and Posy Simmonds (Gemma Bovery, Tamara Drewe).

There is also a conference and a series of talks and interviews to accompany the exhibition.

  1. This is a great exhibition for anyone who is interested in the evolution of comics from children’s entertainment to something dark and adult or for anyone with an interest in art and design
